University Green Roof Project

We have recently revisited a roof garden project we where involved with for Sheffield University 8 years ago and are carrying out major alterations to the growing beds. This has involved completely stripping out all the existing beds, and building a new 25m bench/planter using 90% reclaimed materials from the strip-out – with the only additions being new UK kiln dried Douglas Fir for the seat and front cladding and EPDM liner for the raised bed. We still have a number of stages to complete on this project over the next few months.
