Hagglers Roof
Completed
April 2021
To make the mezzanine we installed in 2020 more usable year round, and particularly with the current need for outdoor entertaining we have added a roof to the Hagglers Corner frame.
To complement the rest of the structure its got lots of angles and a combination of traditional timber framing and screwed connections. A nine metre post and beam fronts the upper bar wall with draw doweled mortise and tenon joints, braces and wedged tabled scarf joint. The purlins and rafters are connected with coach screws and the double pitch roof spills into valleys created using steel gutters.
