As with everything we do, trying to be as sustainable as possible, all materials UK sourced. Mono pitch structure, open to the path of the sun. Roof boarded with Douglas Fir then waterproofed in EPDM (rubber) and with an edge upstand so it is greenroof ready and hopefully this will be a spring addition. UK grown, freshly cut Douglas Fir frame (very low embodied energy), with just four steel shoes set into the ground and removed subsoil rammed back in so no concrete involved. Coreten steel bands around the roof edge and to catch the bottom of the hanging cladding.
