With the rich history of the Lambeth Docklands as a starting point for a photographic introduction to the changing skyline of the Embankment to this day, children from local schools debated the changes and their reasons: industrial revolution, politics, sanitation, war and speculation were all discussed.
On Lambeth Bridge and on the site of the dock the children drew buildings from observation. Using sketches, memory and imagination and through expressive and creative exploration they created their take on The Albert Embankment of tomorrow.
