A modular shelter constructed of steel rings with infill Oak panels, designed in collaboration with Arup engineers. The shelter enables a great variety of covered and open seating options for a group or individuals. The design can be re-configured, or extended to suit any particular site and user requirements. Other materials such as stone or rammed earth can also be introduced. The shelter has been used as a young peoples space and a country park focal point.
